Terrell Davis rushed for 113 yards, Shannon Sharpe had more than 100 yards receiving and Vaughn Hebron returned a kickoff for a touchdown as the 1998 Denver Broncos defeated the 1983 Los Angeles Raiders 21-17 in Super League action.

The Broncos improved to 3-3 with their third win in four games while Oakland fell to 1-5 -- and the basement of the Super League standings.

The Raiders avoided their usual affliction -- turnovers -- as Jim Plunkett's two touchdown passes guided L.A. to a 14-7 lead in the second quarter, but Hebron's 96-yard return made it 14-14 at halftime. Denver took a 21-14 lead in the third quarter when Derek Loville scored on a 27-yard draw play.

The Raiders added a field goal but couldn't mount any offense on their final three possessions as Plunkett finished 14-for-31.
