All season, the 1983 Los Angeles Raiders have struggled with their passing game. But it all came together in Week 14.

Jim Plunkett had the most spectacular game yet for a Super League quarterback, completing 32 of 37 passes for five touchdowns, as the Raiders handed the 1996 Green Bay Packers a tough 35-24 defeat.

The Packers could have moved into a first-place tie but instead fell to 8-6. The Raiders climbed out of the cellar at 5-9.

Plunkett's favorite target was tight end Todd Christensen, who caught 20 passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns, including two in the first half as the Raiders built a 21-14 lead. (Brandon Marshall holds the NFL record with 21 receptions in a game.)

Marcus Allen had two TD catches for the Raiders, including the game-clincher with 3:00 remaining. Brett Favre was 19 of 25 for 236 yards and two touchdowns for Green Bay.
