With a chance to move into a first-place, the '92 Dallas Cowboys came up flat and sloppy on offense and couldn't stop Todd Christensen.
Christensen's three touchdown catches led the last-place 1983 Los Angeles Raiders to a 21-14 upset victory, just their second victory in the Super League. Dallas fell to 6-4 as the offense could muster just 177 total yards while turning the ball over five times.
Christensen's first two TD catches from Jim Plunkett came in the first half as the Raiders built a 14-0 lead, thanks to three Dallas turnovers -- one Troy Aikman interception and an Emmitt Smith fumble.
Dallas cut the lead to 14-7 in the third quarter on Smith's six-yard run, his 10th rushing touchdown, but Oakland countered with Plunkett's seven-yard strike to Christensen. Another Aikman interception cost Dallas in the fourth quarter. He finished just 17 for 35 for 101 yards.
