Red-hot Redskins win again

The Washington Redskins keep on finding ways to pull out victories.

Darrell Green's 49-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter provided the winning score as the '91 'Skins beat the '75 Pittsburgh Steelers 20-17 for their sixth straight victory. Washington improved to 8-4, still sitting one game behind the 1984 49ers for first place. Five of Washington's wins have come by a touchdown or less.

Pittsburgh led 17-13 with 8:17 left when it faced a third-and-8 play from their own 35. Terry Bradshaw tried to find Lynn Swann over the middle, but Green stepped in front of Swann and zigzagged through the Steelers (4-8) for a nifty return.

Pittsburgh's next drive ended with another Bradshaw interception, sealing the victory. Swann had a big day for Pittsburgh, with 110 yards receiving and his ninth and 10th TD receptions. Earnest Byner had 96 yards rushing for Washington.
