The Green Bay Packers blew a chance to move into first place.

With the 1984 49ers and 2004 Patriots both losing, the '96 Packers could have moved into a first-place with a win over the 1999 St. Louis Rams. Instead, Marshall Faulk's three touchdowns led the Rams to a 30-21 upset victory.

Faulk had his second straight three-touchdown game and third of the Super League season. The two-way threat leads the Super League with 14 touchdowns.

Brett Favre had 288 yards and three touchdowns but was just 20 of 44.
