Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) are proud to celebrate the 20th year of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® by recognizing college football student-athletes committed to making an impact off the field through service to their communities.
These 22 student-athletes have been honored with one of the sport's most prestigious community service awards for their dedication to improving the lives of others, in addition to maintaining good academic standing.
The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® is comprised of 11 players from the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision and 11 players selected from the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision, Divisions II, III, and NAIA.
In January, Elqutub and his fellow Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® members will be invited to New Orleans to participate in a special community project around the 2012 Allstate® Sugar Bowl®.
